I know there are many who aren’t keen to put money in HeliSika’s pockets. So if that’s you, perhaps scroll on past, as I’ll probably get your blood boiling.
Just got an email from HS saying they’re all go.

If funds aren’t tight and you want to take your girlfriend - wife - family somewhere a bit different, pretty bloody cool.
There’s no mention of hunting, so not sure about that, or how far until you got to doc land if hunting was a no go, which I’m guessing is the case.
That hot tub would certainly get the sweat and blood off nicely…
I did the Kaimanawa decent (mountain bike ride) late last year, with my son, it was bloody awesome.
They give you the whole spiel on what they’ve done.
I have to say good on them. It’s a Iwi initiative, it’s their land, and it opens up a piece of extraordinary piece of land to many who would never otherwise get the opportunity.
It’s provided, and providing employment to the young local Iwi, and providing easy access to trap lines, where there wouldn’t otherwise be any.
I’m sure I remember them saying they plan to link the Kaimanawa decent to this glamping site, but still building the track.
It’s a truely world class product, I’m sure they’ll receive international recognition in time.
Lets hope access remains in place and everyone can enjoy the park.
