Rotorua hunters and those further afield that may be planning a trip. Te Kopia scenic reserve is getting the green rain with pre bait around the 9/2/21. This is a kick in the balls as I have been spending a bit of time in there learning the area. Apparently the rare Dactylathus or wood rose is there, but you would think if you want the best bang for your buck you would poison when feed is scarce like winter.

Started hunting in Te Kopia. Te Kopia has been bombed fairly often for a long time. Have you had much luck in there? Deer will still be around in similar places just less of them. I had a few issues out Rerewhakaaitu way not on that block but people I knows places.
