Thread: Looking after your meat

Meat bag, at this time of year getting it cool and keeping it that way is the problem.
I believe fly spray works quite well too

If you can hang your animal off ground
Smear fresh blood all through gut cavity and stuff fern into all other opening cavities (throat-arse etc)
You be surprised that you wont get too much blow - but you also must leave skin on
We did this with chest ofal hanging out too.
If it rains - and stays wet - get it out ASAP

If you can get the blood smear to dry - it seals it for many days
