    Smile Looking for Hunting mates

    G'day everyone,

I’ve recently got my firearms licence and started hunting deer—mainly Sika. I’m based in Tauranga and usually head down to the Kaimanawas and Tongariro areas. Managed to shoot my first Sika stag during the roar this year and have been absolutely hooked ever since.

I’m keen to connect with others who are into weekend missions. I enjoy hunting public land and I’m happy to travel to get to good spots. I also like getting out in the D-Max for a bit of 4WD action, and I ride dirt bikes too.

If anyone’s keen to get out there, I’d love to link up. My brother’s like-minded and has some good hunting experience, he's also keen to tag along on trips.

    Cheers!

Maybe try your local Deerstalkers Branch. You are bound to meet a few chaps to hunt with and learn from.

    Welcome aboard
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
Rule 5: Check your firing zone
Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms
