Thread: Mate shoots hind with an ear tag - have you?

My mate rang up today having been up in the Raukumara trying to pick off a stag or two. He said on the 2nd day he shot a big fat hind with an ear tag. Must have been a escapee but he reckons the nearest farmland would have been at least 15km away. I told him that some feral stag probably had her over for the weekend.
