The 300 WSM is plenty !

Moose aren't that hard to kill, after the shot they'll just kick around a bit and their spirit moves on to greener pastures with more long legged brunettes

She has taken a few out to 200 yards with the 300 WSM, all 1 shot kills ! usually by the time you get to them they are done kicking, this was a 35 yard shot and I came up on him within split seconds of the shot, bull didn't even know he was dead and may or may not have made it to the river 35 yards away, I wasn't waiting to find out .....
bad mistake on my part for not giving him a minute to make peace with the world ..... lesson well learned and mistake will not be repeated
