    Mule deer hunt

    Hi Team

Anyone on here have legit hunting contacts for a fair priced mule deer hunt in either USA or canada?

Required free range and legit hunt - ie tags inc

Have the opportunity to holiday in the US and keen to check it out, good opportunity to get out and try something diff, plus no shopping

Never paid to hunt and price on net seems outrageous, think i just got a nose bleed

Just returned (last night) from four weeks tripping through America in an RV. Did just over 6000 miles. Spent a bit of time in shops like Bass Pro, Cabela's etc. Mostly just enjoying the type of shops they are. They aren't that good price wise, but they are great places to go and visit. Bass Pro in Kansas have a moose head in the foyer that measures 87 inches!!! Got talking to a few locals and most of them were willing to take me hunting. One guy in Kansas said "why hell you just get yourself to the airport here we'll pick you up. We got plenty of guns. All you gotta be able to do is drink whiskey and talk bullshit". So guess where I'm going next time I'm over there.
Stayed with a mate in Wisconsin also. They have some nice White Tail on their farm. And Black bears also. They also smoked a big wolf that was eating their calves last year.
My daughter is at Univerity in Missouri. She has done a bit of home work on tags etc, and for a first time non resident application the tag in the county where my mate is in Wisconsin, is only about $100 dollars. She reckons come November she is off to Wisconson for a few days.
I don't know about the quality of the deer in Kansas. But if you want to drink whiskey and talk bullshit, I could email the guy and hook you up.
