    new study on deers vision

Meh. Been discussed a million times on dozens of forums. Eyesight is not a deers strongest defence mechanism, they see movement not detail. You need to be more wary of contrast, ie white faces and hands in a dark environment. That's what catches their eye, not what colour or camo you're wearing.

Their hearing and smelling abilities are what you need to beat, do that successfully and you won't have any trouble shooting deer regardless of what you are wearing. For what it's worth I've stalked and shot heaps of deer while I'm wearing blue jeans.

I'm drawn to the mountains and the bush, it's where life is clear, where the world makes the most sense.
