Thread: Oamaru Hut

I have to say that I would not be shooting a dog on site. I would be inclined to try to catch it first. The dog may not be in the same area as the notices, my one was 12 km away from where she went missing in the first place. If it needs to be euthanised then it should be done humanely. We are fortunate in this area as there is a local couple out near Tokoroa who hold lost dogs (mostly pig dogs) and most people go there to see if their dog has been handed in. Over the years I've dropped of a few and they have been reunited with their owners.
