Thread: Packs with built-in scabbards...any good??

I've got 2 packs with a scabbard - both Markhors and I love it. Depending on where I'm hunting depends on whether I use it or not, but when climbing to the tops it's great, when walking out of somewhere with an animal already in the bag is great - I use mine all the time when I need/want hands free. I'm not sure I would want to have a scabbard where the rifle is barrel down though? - I'm a bit of a clumsy bugga and arse over every now and again and the odd occasion that I've had the bang stick in the scabbard it got a decent hit - I would hate for that to be the crown.
