    petticoat lane ashburton.

    Hi guys , looking to help out a mate who is not on here. they are flying into petticoat lane next roar. any intel on deer numbers, pressure and getting around in there. Any info greatly appreciated...

    It's an offshoot of the North Brranch of the Hakatere, parallel to Turtons Stream, from Round Hill to Godley Peak

    Hunted it thirty years ago great chamois country didn't see much in the way of deer . But good blood lines and more deer around now .

    Very open country, popular with foot hunters from Turtons Saddle and Comyns Hut. A few deer about but has been shot by helicopter several times in the past couple of months, a few truckloads down the road.
