Phil and Duncs last hunt for 2017

Phillipo and I hit the Ruahines yesterday for a stretch of the legs, rather Impromptu hunt with no desion on where to go untill the last minute.
Got a deer each and had a great night out in the tussock.
Enjoy your 2018 people and I look forward to seeing you all in the hills soon.
    A few random pics

That's Tim, my Weatherby MK V ultra light I had reamed out to 30-06 Terminator improved max by Kiwi Greg ( aka gst Gregory ). Basically running 300 Win Mag speeds, it has one job & that's as a Deer Killing machine & fuk me it works so well

Aye, thought it was a Wby of some sort. The Mk5 Ultralights are damn fine rifles, and great for a custom build. Have a couple myself.
