    Photon RT 6x50s Night Vision Scope Issues

    Hey, has anyone owned/used the Photon RT 6x50s Night Vision scope? For some reason mine is being temperamental. Here is what iv experienced:

    1) If you insert batteries, or external power source a grey screen with Yukon Optics in the bottom corner appears on the display before you have even turned the unit on.

    2) Then if it does decide to turn on it can take several minutes to display the reticle and it is not possible to select any of the display/menu options.

    If I manage to get this far then the menu bar appeared but all the symbols appeared as question marks and nothing else.

    Has anyone else experienced any of these things before? Its got me stumped. Cheers
    I laugh a the lor and pride of man, at the sophist schools and learned clan. For what are they all in high conceit, when man in the bush with god may meet?

    Have you tried this one?

    1. Restore the original firmware version using the following procedure:
    a. Connect an external power supply or insert batteries into the riflescope.
    b. Hold down simultaneously the Record button and the controller.
    c. Start the riflescope with a brief press of the ON button. Display will blink two times.
    d. Release the Record button and the controller. The original firmware is now being installed which may
    take up to 1 minute. After successful install the display will steadily glow.
    e. Disconnect the Photon from the power supply or remove the batteries as the Photon will not turn off
    using the on/off button.
    f. After the Photon is shutdown it is ready to operate.
