Hi Buzo, I thought it was you, I sold it to, kinda miss having that rifle in the safe, brilliant string of success, I had with it, up until I took it Thar hunting, and asked an Accubond to do at 400m, what I expected at 100m, picked up another used Funlight in 708 and chopped it back to 18", so all set for a stainless sako.
Hope the rifle is treating you well, and your getting out for a stroll,
Your swani is getting a work out, I've got it in Canada, -35 deg here today, and windy as all hell, likely -44 or so with the wind chill, I've been wearing it with a rain jacket over the top, to cut the wind, then overall's overtop, hell of a way to make a living,

Hi nice to hear from you, and I'm glad that swanie is of some use. I don't know how you cope at that temp. day in day out, but i'm sure you'd get bloody well acclimatised for southern alps hunting! I used a few of your accubonds seemed ok, and shot shot a red yearling in the lung at 270~m from memory and he only went 10~15 metres, must of damaged all the right bits? was quite a mess inside. Have changed to hornady 117 but I'm not keen to shoot beyond 350 yet.
