Thread: Private land hunt near Bay of Plenty

I will be down in the Bay of Plenty at the end of January.Do any one know of a private land owner that has fallowdeer that I can hunt,only have 1 day go shoot.Will pay ,my freezer is empty.

How much money ya got? and how many fallow do you want?...extended family have plenty of fallow behind the wire, come the end of January they usually cull a few.

Do you have access to a chiller, nothing will keep long in present temperatures.

Shot a couple of young Sika last week, just on dark. Gutted and threw in the corner of a creek with stones in their guts. Picked them up mid next day in the blistering heat, in perfect nick. Boned out and into plastic bags and back underwater at camp in the bush for the next couple of days. 4 days in the fridge and just now mincing and freezing.
