    Queenstown trip

    G'day lads. Wife and I are planning on heading to Queenstown in May for a wee break. I was thinking of taking my rifle down to have a go at some deer while we are staying there. I was wondering if anyone here in the QT/Wanaka region would be keen on showing a city boy Aucklander around some of the hills in the hopes of taking down a deer? Could be keen for either a day hunt or an overnighter. Otherwise, where would some good spots be to go hunting? Cheers.
