Hey if you want to shoot your record on a "caged" style safari hunt - go for it. But some of this footage is on NZ Public land and features a local chopper company.

Thoughts? I see that comments are turned off on most of the channels content.

I dont mind someone making money out of their land and deer not as hard on land as big mobs cattle - but I object like hell when they shut of existing access points to DOC public land behind as many do just to have their precious Safari farm

Wtf is that thing with that guy not showing his face but only the brand on his cap? They seem to value the film they produce more than the animal they shoot at.( in other circumstances I would have said harvest, but not in that case)
And that shot on that chami with a 3/4 back presentation is pathetic.
Lucky some of our National productions are on another level.

He goes around the world shooting trophies out to like a thousand yards I think in some cases, I feel like he wants to avoid personal attacks but also has an ego so wants to show off how good he is. Each to their own I guess, money talks and he seems to have a few coins

Watched a couple of his other vids. Enough to convince me I'm not interested in following any of his hunting trips.
Each to their own though. If he has the money and he can spend it in any way that pleases him.

that chammy was puffing like heck...and if the fellas were as said when clip started 200 yards away before it spotted them..stinks like hazing to me....
but yes...your land,his $$$$$ whatever tickles his fanny I guess just dont promote it as normal or fair chase..fuck all fair about it.

hazing in this case is using a helicopter to move an animal into a position where it is then shot by the client - they use deep snow or bluffs and tire the animal out and then the client gets out and shoots it - used by Safari operators on thar and chamois mostly -not so much on deer - the ethics of it well over to you - to me I could not look up at a thar head up on my wall shot in that way
