Another thing I've noticed is when you a stag really fucking pissed off and in close you can put down the polly and do those deep coughs, I've done that a few times and its helped bring them in the last little bit - having said that its so far only worked with smaller satellite stags. None the less it frees up the hands.

But I'd be taking up Rushys offer and getting some real stuff as long as you have good recording gear
