I knew as soon as I saw him on the lineup that the Aussies would be in a bit of trouble! Shay is the real deal for bush knowledge and survival. Really pleased and proud of the guy

I was always 100% behind Shay, but Muzza was my 2nd pick. Glad he made it that far

Restraint is the better part of dignity. Don't justify getting even. Do not do unto others as they do unto you if it will cause harm.

Muzza is an absolute legend - on the toughness, resilience and humour fronts. It's a shame they don't reward the top three. Seems like after 40 days they deserve a little return other than the effects of starvation.

An "Old school" way of achieving what he did involved "Intestinal fortitude" I would imagine he has a strong psychological profile

I'm not sure about the Aussie show but I know on the American one they do get paid per day out there and it sounds like it's a fair amount.
Hope that's the same in this case as he did bloody good, if not for Shay he'd have won any of the 3 seasons so far
