Thread: So you think you are in the back of beyond!!

While it is normally very quiet, for the next month it is tent city and number of the camp sites are quite close. I also don't think there is a booking system for the helicopter operators like in the Kawekas, Kaimanawas and Ruahines. I spend a while chasing roaring stags in there each year and I just have to cross my fingers that no one else will have been flown into where I like to camp.
