    We hired an inflatable on a trip to Fiordland.
    Inflated it and there was no bung

    I've only had one trip there, we had the Rollers block for a few days.

    Based on that trip I'd advise that if you assume the boat will be able to drop you close to your campsite and take heavy stuff, you will end up getting dropped at the next beach over and have to lug it all up over a headland to get to the campsite.

    Think we'll get a block with a hut next time, so we can dry gear out better in between soakings.
