    a successful hunt

i thought id share my successful hunt lastnight with you all. i was out at one of my favorite hunting spots last night watching a hind and her fawn mooching around on some small clearings across the gully from me when this nice spiker poked his head out of the scrub. i watched him for about 15 mins and decided to stalk up closer and see if i could get a shot at him. after fumbling around trying to get a good rest on a bunch of rocks i finally got comfy enough and had a shot, i fired hitting him in the ribs just behind the shoulder going in one side and out the other taking out both lungs in the process, he ran about 20 meters before hitting the deck. upon reaching him i was over the moon as i hadn't shot a deer in over a year
has anyone else had any recent success they want to share? i think its good encouragement and inspiration to see how other people are getting on with their hunting. Name: IMG059.jpg

    Brilliant SS. Nice looking eater.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
