    Mt Cook snd Westlsnd Natl parks - "to reduce tahr to the LOWEST PRACTICABLE DENSITIES".
    In other words, to attempt to eipe them out.
    DoC' s aim elsewhere is to hammer tahr down to around 1 per 100 acres.
