    In Taupo for a hunt

    Hi im up from Masterton for the weekend keen for a hunt on Sunday. I havn't hunted from any road ends up here. Can anyone give me any ideas? Clements mill probably is the easiest place to get to. Or is anyone in coming along for a walk some where

    Welcome to the forum Farmer. There are a few active members on here that live around Taupo. Use the forum search function and search by "Sika" and you will quickly learn who they are and be able to send them a PM. If you don't have the time for that then head down Clements Mill Road and park up and go. There are a number of obvious places to park all along that road and you certainly do not need to go all the way to the end.
    It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
    What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
    Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
    Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
    Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
    Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
    Rule 5: Check your firing zone
    Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
    Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms
