This weekends heavy rain warning 150mm could wash away all the bait laid so far.

A bit of rain will certainly wash off any deer repellant.

It could be just pre feed if the drop has just started.

Usually they pre feed twice before the actual green rain. After that 3rd drop is when you really want the 150mls

One prefeed and one toxic drop. Repellant is incorporated in the baits not coated so wont wash off.

Think they're pre-feeding at moment. Dave from OSPRI stated at Blenheim meeting, 11/03/21, that deer repellant was incorporated into bait to mitigate rainfall effects.

Then they likely waxed the baits as well.

My understanding is that the prefeed started on the 15th and the 1080 on the 22nd according to the poison warning signs by the St James homestead, hopefully some of the 1080 will be affected by all the rain at the moment

I'm sure it will, been raining all day today and yesterday in the township and forecast to continue until Tuesday lunchtime.
