    Update boys... It appears DoC has been employing cullers (16 with dogs reportedly) to decimate the fallow population in the Te Puke hills. My cousin and I entered all three popular road ends yesterday and tramped about fifteen kms over the day, only to find one antler-bashed tree, one small patch of month old droppings and two questionable hoof prints in mud. Summary, if you don't know where there are always deer in this block, don't waste ANY time or money getting yourself there to hunt them. I don't believe they're even there this summer
