They will still be around, cullers will never get them all. Im pretty sure that cullers that do get put into the Tepuke hills are usually employed to cull the goats too rather then the deer.

The private land surrounding the Tepuke hills holds alot of deer over spring/summer so its possible the lack of sign is due to the animals moving off to graze on the farms.
