Maybe. I accept that Any half sensible deer would be on the scrubby farm boundary at this time of year, but you would still see ageing sign from winter if they were there in numbers I consider worth the effort chasing. I can drive to any other DoC land in the central north island and see sign immediately from the road end car park and that to me is motivation to hunt for deer. I've never been keen on hunting for a needle in a hay stack, so anyone who is, is welcome to it Good luck
