We all know insured house /dwelling can get burned down and a insurance company will replace it on a like for like basis what was previously there in the first place.....hopefully?

So what is the true financial cost of replacing each independent hut to exactly match exactly what was their in the first place?

Well the replacement of Casey Hut in Arthur’s Pass cost $300k a couple of years ago, so if they put 20 huts back in that’s 6million minimum
