The Tahr management plan has been in place since 1992? and no government since then has actively managed or monitored it or, as far as I can see, made any attempt to change the status of our game herds.

The same as what the majority of us want. The 25 year old management plan needs updating with sound science backing. A lot has changed in the hunting industry since then.
