Thread: Thompsons

Hi Guys

Does anyone on here live at the bottom of thompsons on the waikato side and owns a quad? We would like to go up there this weekend and was wondering if anyone would be willing to give us a ride up to the summit in exchange for goods beer or whatever you fancy.

We would like to go up friday evening or saturday morning ideally.

Was up there within the last week and seriously think you would struggle to get a quad up there at the moment. Im certainly no expert when it comes to riding one but the track is currently a bloody mess.

I thought the track was too mounted for vehicles. I think Gappedaxe was up there this week. He would know it's condition if he was.

cd and i were up there a while ago i recon youd be lucky to get a quad up there theres one mother of a hole full of water and you wouldnt see your quad for a while if it sank in it i may be wrong tho

nah mate was there last week. No chance of getting a vehicle up there. Consider it a character building experience.

Yeh i was there last weekend we walked up but saw heaps of quads go up so thought id try my luck haha. You an get around the right of that big one on a quad. On the 'footpath' bit
