Yes, the difference is I own one of the vehicles in question with the exact same motor, which is a 3.0 Litre turbo diesel (the 1KZ-TE), the other expert on everything clearly doesnt know shit from wild honey and therefore should stop throwing his 2 cents in on topics he clearly knows piss all about.
