    On this forum post someone says to use alcohol , then borax, then alcohol... or something like that.

    On this website they say they use formaldehyde.

    Just brushed it on . Was how I was told to do it 30 yrs ago.... Unfortunately I no longer have those antlers but were still looking good 10 yrs later...
    Might be worth a call to a taxidermist for advice ?
    Formaldehyde is probably the best way to go but i don't think it is an easy chemical to get, is it? Id love to get some to wet preserve small things.

    Id stay away from bleach. Hydrogen peroxide is good, does the job very well and does not ruin the bone as much as bleach does. Just need a tiny bit.
