Now and then ?........I was there 50 years ago up the Irene river valley on the true right. We climbed up to the bush line and mainly hunted there?
We didn't see many deer let alone Wapiti......Then 1971 to now 2021, Over this time period have the Wapiti genetics increased in this area being on the southern boundary of the Wapiti area?

Air transport and landscapes......We landed by floatplane at high tide which means it was easy to set up a base camp just inside the bush. Next day we made our way up the valley at high tide which was a mistake. When we came back down the valley the tide was out which made travelling to the base camp easy. Then the float plane came in at low tide and that was another adventure to get to the floatplane. That area never appeal to me.
