A bull horn I found in the shed cut the point off and drilled a few holes tied a shoe lace to it good to go.

Is that of a cortina?
Top 12 inches of a traffic cone, it's orange for safety even though the deer don't see it as orange and it's surprisingly good!
2 Pipi Shells tied together with a wasp sting, will upload a photo when i can work out the photo thingi
I balked at the $50 charge for a piece of injection molded plastic that the local hunting shops wanted so the traffic cone is getting a haircut - good idea Matt
half a powerade bottle seems enough to get the wairarapa reds going.. the price is more than manageable compared to some of those fancy shop jobbies haha
Whatever is handy, coke bottle, polypipe, someone else's flash roaring horn, or nothing.
Length of flexible 40mm pipe from Payless Plastics resonates well, it is certainly cheaper than the proprietary ones that H & F Hamills etc sell. Advantage being flexible is I can get slightly differing tones out of it :D
In the past, a length of PVC tube, powerade bottle with the arse cut out, etc. This year, my custom bullhorn made by Sneeze I won in last years NZHS story comp  can't wait to put it to the test!
The old radiator hose trick.....works a treat and free as

Cow horn works for me on Reds, for Sika I plug the Deer caller in.The thin horn gives good resonance.

this is a pose photo from last year when I had a stag 3m from the barrel then shot it on the run. My roaring horn is a bit of 50mm Black Magic hose from the old Paykels. Use it for a few years now and gone alright with it.
Keen to cut the bottom out of a Powerade bottle this year and see how it goes

Nice bit of bush Sako75. If the hose isn't broken and works then why upgrade to a Powerade bottle?
Well a roaring horn is useless for me at the moment because im just talking to myself!!!!!! Where the fuck are they!!
