    What's the best way?

Just wondering what the best way would be to meet up with experienced hunters that would be happy to take someone out with them on a hunt for deer.
I see possummatti has already thought about the HUNT courses, very keen for that, but also keen just to meet up with fellow hunters just for a beer or so and get to know people around the Hamilton area.

    Cheers for any help.

Yeah based in Hamilton, keen to get out for some deer when weather, wife, child and work let me. Happy to travel for a good day out and keen to see what is out there.
As for drinking that Waikato piss, i think they just drain it out the river and add some antifreeze to give it taste with a little formaldehyde to keep it fresh, i have a more refined Belgium beer palate Oh and in about 1 weeks time about 60 litres of home brew beer.

Telling a Scotsman to harden up on the drink front is a bit like telling an Inuit to get over the cold.

It has a few months to mature but i bet it will be a good one. I have about 25 litres of Irish Ale just bottled, some hoppy mild ale (robbers gold), another 25 litres of Irish ale to bottle this week and a new wheat beer kicking off just now, along with the ends of some Leffe beer. I can tell you it is going to be one very merry Christmas this year. Hic and yurp!
