Thread: Where would you live?

I spent a couple of holidays on the West Coast. Tried surfcasting, which was very poor for me. Basically if you haven’t got some means to throw that sinker way out ( I ll let you guys guess how which way) you are pretty much stuffed to try catching anything in that rough shore surf.
The bush hunting isn’t to bad. Surely not worst than the kaimais.
I had a good yarn with Pete the bushman who is a mate from my mate down there. I like the independent spirit of the locals down there.

I spent a few days at our new family bach down near Punakaiki, lovely bit of coast and bush.
Haven't looked for a deer up the back yet but there's plentiful hares on the property and no immediate neighbour's, perfect for a subsonic out the kitchen window.
One of the folk i met on the beach had a 12lb snapper on his kontiki line.

Also visited family in Hokitika and climbed a couple of the smaller mountains up the back, yup still a great place
