Thread: woodhill block 9 (top block)

Me and the boys have got block 9 (farthest north bordering the farm)

They commute between the farm and forest, get along that edge early.

@muka88 how did you get on? I am heading to that block next weekend

Went to block 8 yesterday. Only saw a pig for the entire day. Weather was pretty cold and rainy.

Sorry for the late reply saw 2 hinds and a small spiker at the cut section near the bottom in the evening , ranger said only 2 deer where taken all day.
I had forgotten how dark they are nearly black
They are pretty wary now waiting game i think.

I was in block 6. Saw 21 deer but all hinds and yearlings. Had a local meet us at the gate saying someone had shot a deer next to his house at 6:30 and one of the cars had a deer in the back semi covered by a tarp...be interesting to hear the outcome of that
