When the time is right a custom 7mm saum
Rigby Big Game in, .416 Rigby.
SxS Bakail in .45/70
Another 96/22 in 22lr
Greetings,
A Ruger no 1 in some rimmed calibre, 6.5 x 57R maybe. My cobber in Oz has one in .275 Rigby (aka 7 x 57 Mauser). Could probably afford one but advancing age and decrepitude together with frugal attitudes from my parents that lived through the depression have prevented one entering the rifle cupboard to date.
Grandpamac.
Too easy...
A Glenn Soroka made Farquharson falling block in a caliber that would stop an African Buffalo
Colour case hardened metal work, I'm not into engraving.
6.5x55
Bolt action
Stainless barrel and action
Carbon fiber stock
Hinged floor plate
A great cartridge, mine is a Sendero that sadly does not get out much. The reason the cartridge is not factory chambered any more is that Remington (and Winchester with their 7 mm WSM) stole the design, were sued and lost. There are probably more custom rifles around than factory.

@grandpamac, curious why a rimmed cartridge ? just your preference, or something to do with no 1 action ?
P.S. there is a nice 257 Roberts that has been sitting at Wilsons in Whanganui for several years... it would make an interesting heavy varmint / light deer rifle for NZ.
Carbonlite in 6.5prc
BLR 308 take down:thumbsup:
Honestly, I don't want another gun. I bought myself a gun that I didn't really "need" for a landmark birthday this year and that was a strange feeling.
Greetings ebf,
Thanks for pointing that out, not. I had to have a look at Wilson's web site. 5 Ruger no 1 rifles! I don't think I have ever seen that many in the same place in NZ. After tea and a lie down I will probably recover.
Regards Grandpamac.
 It's a fun place to visit. I regularly stop in and fondle the No 1's, haha. The 257 Bob is a nice example of the full wood version.
Unfortunately they don't seem to have the Safari models in stock on a regular basis. A friend of mine up the road here has one in 375 H&H, I'd love to pry it away from him.
A Model 1903 6.5x54 Mannlicher Shoenauer. Actually a fully wooded Mannlicher Shoenauer in any caliber would do me!!
Sako .275 Rigby wood/blued.
.470 NE double, best quality London firm would be nice but to be honest I would take a Sabatti and be happy[emoji106]

not so exotic but a Marlin 1895 Dark 45/70 is one I would like to own
you could always get tall bi-pod better than a zimmer frame , thats my plan
surprised nobody mentioned.... and just because you cant, ar10 ar15 would be nice.
Left handed bolt action. 5 shot detachable magazine chambered for a cartridge capable of taking big game to 500 yards and equipped with a 2-15x 50 dual function illuminated reticule/thermal scope. Total package would weigh around 2kgs ready to go and at the push of a button it would shrink to pocket size. It would also have the ability to locate game and carry it out for me once shot and butchered. If anyone has one let me know.:D
Another English Double!! Or a nice Petite Scottish double deer gun in 38/55 I know of.
Tikka 7mm saum ,Remington short action ultra mag . U tube wow
If we are dreaming I would have a Shiloh
The chance to give up work forever so I can actually get out with my rifles.
American Resistance 'Elite Ops' chambered in .223 Wylde. Topped with a Sig Sauer ECHO3 X2-12 reflex thermal sight.
Or back down to reality would be a Carbonlight in 300 winmag with a Terminator brake and a Zeiss victory v8.
shite..we on page 3 and no body has asked for a S/S sythetic T3 in 7mm/8 or .243 yet........whats going on here folks???????
Hey @mimms2, I am sure Synthetic will tell you his reasons for hinged floorplate, but I'll give you mine as well.
I love them for 3 reasons.
1) not having a detachable mag sticking out the bottom makes a rifle much easier to carry (provided it is balanced). most modern rifles seem to have gone away from flush mount mags, probably to get higher capacity
2) easy to dump all the rounds without having to cycle them thru the action like with a blind mag
3) it is a timeless, classy design.

Since it’s a dream rifle, one off Captain Cooks ship.
Agree with a 275 rigby or maybe a modern left hand 303.
More realistically, a browning safari in 220 swift
