    Depends what your criteria are?

Cost, ergonomics, ability to attach things, parts interchangeability, aesthetics, parts commonality. From my vantage point the Tippmann M4-22 is pretty good.

Like dads favourite Axe...by the time you replace everything that needs replacing there is not much of the original one left (apart from the design....)

I've had the same 10/22 since 1984 and never felt the need to replace it. It's gone through a huge number of rounds and despatched countless pests without issues unless it gets very dirty... by which I mean 20+ years between cleans. It's plenty accurate enough for my farm use.

When I put this old choate dragunov-style stock on my 10/22 a few years back it changed the feel of the factory trigger and made it unrecognisable. Much easier to use. I was quite impressed.

Mines in an ati drag stock, similar design and result. I see you have a trimag on that, never could get to like those things.

Nah, it's a double. The trimag version looks far too much like male genitals for my liking. I like the double because often when trying to shoot multiple hares a single 10rd mag is not enough, but 20 is usually plenty because any survivors are usually gone by then. Alos the doubled mags don't hang down quite as far as the old BX15 did, but for 5 extra rounds. I have got a 4 mag joiner which I have never used, that thing would look really stupid with 4 mags hanging out at once.

Yeah, it's amazing. I like mine, but so many people on this forum appear to hate 10/22s with a deranged passion. If you put up a new post titled "should I buy a 10/22?" you'd probably get a pretty strong reaction

I use my 10/22 for pest control around the farm. Have not had any problems with it. Its supressed and scoped with no work done to her. The only problem ive had is when it gets super dirty or it dislikes the ammo im using ( remmington etc.) I use CCI and it operates brilliantly.

NOT a Gevarm that fires from an open bolt!
Terrible trigger and oh boy, that delay between cranking on the trigger and the bolt slamming forwards - the lock time can be measured using a calendar!

Shot 100s ( thousands?) with mine, never get a misfire but do get occasional. ‘fails to eject’.
