I'm thinking of getting new 7mm-08 (sick of the POS Marlin XS&....). Had a play with a Savage light weight; but didn't like it's handling; just felt clunky..... So maybe a Remmy Model 7......

Nothing wrong with the Howa they are very accurate and well priced, my brother in law has one and loves it. I have had mine for many years and it still shoots good and yes they are nice to carry and point well.

@H.M. This one could be worth looking closer at. It has the black speckled laminate stock and is suppressed. Not sure about the scope. It could be a bushnell AR/223 or a chinese knock off, I cannot tell. But suppressed and with the laminate stock it could be worth checking out.
