    243 vs .308

    Hi all I have I知 relatively new on here and just have received my gun license. I知 planning on buying a tikka elite and I thought I would go with .308 but I have had some people recommend 243 and I would like to get more opinions. I will be hunting anything and everything (I have access to a semi 22 so no real small stuff) I live up north in Waikato but will be able to go down south every now and again.
