Vortex podcast did an episode on cutting down a tikka 308 and suppressing it. Heaps of positives, very few negatives. I think they cut it down to 16" with minimal POI or velocity change.

I listened to that. A discussion on short barrels and supressors like it was new...we've been doing it in NZ for 20 years!
Still they were correct in what they said and worth a listen.
