    Overbarrel on a hunting rig, keep it short. Also the Kimber having a #1contour barrel you probably dont want too much hanging off the front of it. You may find that you will need to chop your barrel back a bit to get enough meat to turn a thread onto it as I dont think any NZ suppresor company do a thread that will suit a 1# contour, the few I have seen are running an adapter to allow a shoulder for the suppresor to snug up against

    Have a mate using the adapter you mention. He mounted adapter permantly in the suppressor as its only used on the one rifle
