    go for a rail if youre putting a vx6 on a tikka, I have a VX6 on my finnlight and im using optilocks but im lucky as mine is a short-mag action length and I can see where you could run into trouble fitting a VX6 in optilocks on a long action sako or on a tikka, rail you can do what you want with it
