    That AICS mag looks quite thick walled. You could carefully shave parts of it that are external to the mag well and catch. Give it a slimmer external profile. Take all the gubbins out of it and check the thickness is uniform, fit it to the bottom metal and mark the external area then get stuck in with a little grinder, sander. You might end up grinding away the base plate retention, I don’t know what that looks like, but so what. Glue the base permanently back in, they can be cleaned without disassembly.
    10MRT shooters do it 60 times, in two directions and at two speeds.
