Is this using the template @Norway posted a while back? I was going to try and find it again but filed it in the too hard basket

I hadn't seen the one Norway did until after I made my first one. But got the idea from Custom Scope Turrets. Was going to get them off their website, but found I couldn't get it "just how I wanted it". But pretty much do it the same as Norway, but using MS Publisher.

Been using one on my 260 for a couple of months with great success. Plenty of hares falling at 500+ yds.

Of course you need really good reloads etc.

What's it printed on, and is it water proof? Looks great for quick shots out to say 500y.

Not 100% waterproof, but have been out in drizzle for a few hours and went ok. Still looking for the prefect material. Common label makers are not vector based, and therefore may not be able to keep the scale correct during printing.

There are some vinyl printers and material out there, but haven't been able to sort one at the right price. So I just print off a few extra ones so they can be replaced. Once they are created, printing and putting on the turret is only a few seconds.

I've written my own custom turret labeling app, which is working great, but I cant locate any waterproof sticky paper to use so am just using mailing labels at present. where did you get your labels from?

    Cheers

I'm printing these a bit longer than the turret circumference to ensure they overlap and round off the top cornerstone little to prevent the label getting caught and coming off.

Using mail label too, but setting the big flash printer at work to the highest resolution and quality I can.

Impressive! I'd pay money to host a metric version of that if it's intended as freeware.

Does the marking wear off over time?
