    Sounds like a project, I am having a 6.5x47L built at the moment for gong shoots. Yes it is only a mid capacity and will need more clicks on the scope to reach way out there however as you say the barrel will last a lot longer than my 7mm Mag. It will be cheaper all round to shoot than the bigger rifle I have. Excellent Lapua brass is available here, I will be shooting the Lapua 123 Scenar bullet. My rifle should get to me next week and I hope to have it running for the Alpine Long Range event in November.
