Definitely wouldn't be removable like a screwed on one but saves having to drill the receiver.
There are a ton of epoxy options I might look into, probably wont do that until I cerakote the receiver, but will see how it holds fir a start.

I have read a bit from others who have had these rails slip, but i guess I could drill into the receiver a little for the grubscrews to grab onto?
Much cheaper solution than what the gunsmith offered and is essentially the same result.
I got my trigger partsfrom Kinney's in the US - very good seller. Not sure if you guys are able to order these parts from abroad?

Yeah we can, scope mounts are no problem, but you need to apply for an import permit to get the trigger kits.
I think delta Mike was stocking those at one point, might be worth hitting them up for the rails.

The black ms1 windscreen sealant works....that's how I stuck piccy rail on-top of shotgun barrel.it cannot move nor flex.

@takbok Did you have many issues ordering your DIP trigger kit?
I see they dont ship international.
I see that Gun City stock a henry version of the marlin rail that looks almost identical.
Do you see any reason why this would not fit? It only looks a tad shorter, im unsure if its rounded or not on the underside which could be an issue if it is.

@Old_School , I had no issues. Their website says that they do ship international so not sure what the issue is.

I don't see why the Henry adapter rail won't work.

The henry one costs about double in NZD, but not sure what shipping costs would be for the DIP, when I went to place an order it said they cannot ship to my country, also quoted from their FAQ:

"I tried to register but my country was not listed so the registration failed?

As stated on the Home page we do not ship internationally at this time."

Ah, you need to order from Kinney's, not DIP:

Well I got my DIP rail arrived yesterday and low and behold, it doesn't fit!
It's as loose as anything and drops over without even needing to slide over.
I don't see how this is supposed to hold on here?
Photo doesn't really make it clear, but the edge of that dovetail is touching the lower edge of the rail.
I gathered that these typically can be a tight fit.
This rifle is pretty 2005 and I have got the correct part number.
Is it possible that some rifles had a more narrow dovetail?Name: 20250716_145136.jpg

@Old_School I'm guessing that they've sent you the rail for the later 11mm dovetail, not the 3/8 Dovetail which your rifle seems to have?

Yes your right, but its the other way round, turns out mine 11mm, the 3/8 is actually a larger size than mine, as its measured at the bottom of the dovetail, not the top. Probably why I assumed it was right when i measured it, plus I didnt realise the Marlins came out in 2 different sizes, but Im guessing the 11mm version is uncommon, DIP dont even offer an 11mm version.
I found something else that might suit however, but means I will have to wait another couple of weeks to get it out of the UK this time.
