    Atlas Copy Bipod Review

After seeing scottrods bipod and liking it, he kindly tacked another on his last order for me.
I had put a little bit about the bipod on another thread, but rather than hijack that thread I thought I'd do a review and post it.

So first up here's a few pics....

    packaging box it came in...

I have it mounted on my R15 at present.

    Extended...

    Compressed....

So it swivels, pivots and extends/compresses as needed. The legs are notched as well. The legs can be set to 5 different positions also.
The rubber feet can be removed easily by pushing a small pin. I assume that the Atlas accessory feet (spiked or sledge) can fit, but I can't confirm that yet as I haven't tried.
The adjustment for the swivel is easy with the large nut in the middle.
The pivoting action is minor but more than enough as well I found.
After mounting it on my front rail, I found I needed to adjust the tension of the quick detach slightly. Easy to do by adjusting the nyloc nut.
The qd system holds firmly on the rail without any slop or movement.
I easily set it up on the hill when snipering some bunnies. Was able to set the legs to different heights for on uneven ground very quickly and easily.
No issues with it when shooting the AR, even when letting off a quick multiple burst to see what happens. Held position well and didn't alter at all.

I did initially get it to put on 1 of my 22's, but it works well on the AR so it will get used on that as well.

Overall I'm very happy with it. The guys that came on the shoot were also impressed enough to want 1 as well. lol
The original link posted on the other thread no longer works. But I have found another supplier on a different website.
